We are very excited to have Wayne as our Player Sponsor for 2018.  Milera was drafted from Central District in the SANFL, having played 11 senior games for the season, including two finals. He also played all six games for South Australia at the Under 18 National Championships. Milera debuted in round 1, 2016 against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium. After the round 10, 2017 match against Fremantle, in which Milera recorded sixteen disposals, four tackles and three goals, he was the round nominee for the AFL Rising Star.

Matt Crouch 2017

~~The talented young midfielder showed he has what it takes to play at the top level. Started his 2015 season in the SANFL but forced his way into the AFL side for the Round Six clash against Gold Coast. Crouch went on to play 17 games for the season averaging 21 disposals a game despite starting as the substitute on four occasions. Relishes the physical contest and will be looking to cement a midfield spot in 2016.

Crouch was unable to add to his AFL games tally in 2015 because of a persistent foot injury sustained in a NAB Challenge game in March. The skilful midfielder made two SANFL appearances in the middle of the year, but was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the season after experiencing more foot soreness. A key member of Adelaide’s engine room, Crouch will be hoping for an injury-free 2016 to help him deliver on the promise he showed as runner-up in the 2013 NAB Rising Star award.

Richard Douglas

Junior Clubs: Broadford /Calder U18s
Debut: v Port Adelaide, Round 21, 2006
Recruited from: Broadford /Calder U18
Brownlow Votes: 16

Douglas started Season 2015 with a bang, collecting 31 possessions in Adelaide's Round One against North Melbourne. He averaged 22 possessions through the first five rounds before sustaining a foot injury in Showdown XXXVIII. After six weeks on the sidelines, Douglas returned against Hawthorn in Round 12 and was on his way back to top form before a bout of appendicitis kept him out for another fortnight. The 2010 Club Champion finished the season strongly playing in Adelaide's last five games - including both finals, but will be eager for an injury free 2016. Signed a three-year deal in June that is likely to see Douglas finish his career a one-club player.

Sam Kerridge

Player Sponsor 2014

Number    17
Height     188 cm
DOB       26-04-1993
Weight     86 kg
Debut       2012

Played 11 games in a breakout 2013 season. The mature-bodied onballer showcased his versatility, playing shutdown roles on the likes of Ryan Griffen, Chris Judd and Grant Birchall, and also as a link-up forward. The highlight of Kerridge’s season was a match-defining six-goal haul in Adelaide’s thrilling come-from-behind win over North Melbourne, which earned him a Rising Star nomination. Signed a two-year deal that will see him remain a Crow until at least the end of 2015.

Adelaide’s first pick (No.29 overall) in the 2011 AFL Draft, Kerridge impressed in his first pre-season and earned a call-up as the substitute in the Club’s Round Three clash with Hawthorn. A favourable run with injuries prevented the hard-running midfielder from adding to his games tally in 2012, but he continued to display strong form for SANFL Sturt and will benefit from another full pre-season.

Matthew Jaensch

Player Sponsor 2013

Number  10
Height      180 cm
Weight     83 kg
DOB        18-09-1989
Debut      2010

Jaensch played nine of the opening 12 games of the season, providing offensive run from half-back. The long-kicking defender was hampered by a groin injury in the latter half of the season, and surgery eventually put an end to his season before finals. Jaensch will be a Crow until at least the end of 2014 after signing a new contract.

Following a promising debut season as a small forward in 2010, Jaensch held down a permanent spot in defence last year. The neat-kicking 22-year-old averaged 18.5 disposals across half-back and was on track for a break-out season before suffering a shoulder injury, which required surgery, against Essendon in round 17. Despite missing the last month of the season, Jaensch was recognised with the Emerging Talent award at the Crows Club Champion night. His best game came against Melbourne in round seven, where he amassed 27 possessions, five marks and three tackles

Luke Brown

Number  16

Weight     79 kg
DOB        22-09-1992
Debut      2012

A quick and versatile utility, Brown represented South Australia at the 2011 Under-18 Championships and also played league SANFL football with Norwood. The Crows secured the promising local as part of a deal with Greater Western Sydney, which also saw fancied North Ballarat midfielder Brad Crouch join the Club. Brown, 19, has fantastic skills on either side of his body and has won plenty of admirers at West Lakes with his competitive nature.

Height     196cm
Weight    95 kg
DOB     02-10-1991
Debut    vs  Sydney Swans

The former first-round draft pick overcame a pre-season Achilles complaint to make his long-awaited debut against the Sydney Swans in round 15. Talia showed poise in his nine games, shutting down his direct opponent and providing great support to his fellow defenders. The 20-year-old has an opportunity to make the centre half-back position his own following the departures of key defenders Nathan Bock and Phil Davis in successive seasons.

David Noble: “Dan came from the clouds a bit. In the first half of the season, he kept picking up little niggles that held him back for a week or two, but he's one of the best-prepared junior players I've ever seen and leaves nothing to question. We knew that if we could get him into some form and into the side he would do well. His discipline as a defender was the first thing that caught my eye. He grew so much in that 8-10 week block and we can't wait to see more of him this season.

Debut  vs Collingwood  Rnd 1  ,2009

Selected in the 2007 rookie draft, Petrenko was elevated to the senior list in Round 17 2008 in place of injured ruckman Rhett Biglands. He put an interrupted pre-season behind him to hold down a league spot with the Eagles while coming very close to making his AFL debut. He was named as an emergency on four consecutive occasions and was on the verge of making his Crows debut in round 20. The small defender had a solid season in the SANFL after overcoming an off-season shoulder reconstruction to regain his spot in the Woodville-West Torrens line up, playing in the midfield and in defence and featuring regularly in the best.

Schmidt played five league games for West Adelaide before being drafted in 2006 to Brisbane. A tough run of injuries at Brisbane including a dislocated shoulder and osteitis pubis meant he received limited opportunities. He played just two games in two years with the Lions but was prominent with the Suncoast Lions in the AFLQ.

Debut: 1999

The big man was again a solid contributor at both ends of the park last year, booting 21 goals despite spending the initial part of the season in defence. A hamstring injury sustained in round 19 virtually ended McGregor’s season, and he shapes as a key target up forward in 2007 in the absence of Trent Hentschel. McGregor was drafted from Woodville-West Torrens as a 17-year-old with the No 75 pick at the 1998 national draft. He made his debut in 1999 and played most of his early games as a forward before being used in defence in 2001 and he has since spent periods at both ends of the ground. In 2005 McGregor started back but then became an important forward, kicking 31 goals – including nine in three finals – and took more contested marks than any other Crow. Last year he had a solid start to the season and polled club champion votes in 15 of the first 16 games. His round 19 hamstring strain came at the wrong time, however, and he missed three games before returning through the SANFL with the Eagles. The Crows selectors could not find a spot for him in the finals but McGregor has vowed to work hard over the pre-season and win back his spot in the 2007 season.

Strong marking ruckman around the ground or up forward. Impressive for Victoria Country in National Bank's AFL U18 Championships this year. His 10.44sec for the 3km time trial at the Draft Camp was super impressive for a ruckman, being in the top 10% overall. From Modewarre FC

Johncock is entering his eighth season at the club after being a late draft pick (No 67) at the 2000 national draft. From Port Lincoln’s Mallee Park Football Club, Johncock played some SANFL football for Port Adelaide Magpies. He was the club’s leading Goalkicker in 2003 with 30 goals but he has spent a majority of his career in defence. In 2005 he led club champion voting half way through the year but broke his leg and missed a large part of the season. The last few years he has been a part of one of the AFL’s best defensive units. In 2008 he represented the Dream Team in the AFL’s 150th year showpiece game.
